Today, for the first time ever Global Exhibitions Day is celebrated: ITECA supported the project.
Under the auspices of UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) and IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events), the representatives of the exhibition world decided to combine their efforts to demonstrate the role of the exhibition industry and its achievements to the world.
“There are many important federal and regional initiatives (projects) addressed to the exhibitors, visitors, politicians and other stakeholders. By combining our efforts, we will rapidly achieve the goals”, said Sergey Alekseyev, President of UFI and Julia Smith, Chairman of IAEE.
The project aims to show the importance of exhibitions for companies, the role of exhibitions in the development of trade and internationalization, innovations and the competitiveness of organizations and most importantly in uniting the countries and industries. And all the while Global Exhibitions Day has to be a special event for people working in the sphere of exhibition, which will inspire them to future achievements and will help see the existing career opportunities. The special day earned widespread support from 29 national exhibition associations all over the world; many national associations have planned to hold events in the framework of Global Exhibitions Day.
ITECA, as the largest member of the exhibition activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan joined Global Exhibitions Day and supported the professional flashmob. As a partner of the international exhibition company ITE Group Plc (UK), ITECA has held more than 40 exhibitions a year for 24 years in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in Almaty, Astana, Aktau, Atyrau, Shymkent, covering 22 various sectors of the economy.
While organizing a new project - Kazakhstan International Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine under the brand Cosmobeauté, we are convinced that under tense international situation, our event and Global Exhibitions Day will help improve international cultural relations between countries and contribute to spreading positive information and the integration between nations.
