Cosmobeauté Kazakhstan 2016: the further – the better
For a long time only middle-aged women, who sought to hide the signs of aging reached out for plastic surgery. However, in recent years, with a breakthrough in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine, more and more women, and now men of various ages have resorted to face and body correction, anti-aging aesthetic procedures, cosmetic care, health-improving programs, surgical and non-surgical methods.
Gulnar Gabassovna Zhumatova, President of Kazakhstan Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Plastic Surgery, impeccable professional, well-known and respected not only in Kazakhstan, but also abroad, a doctor, a competent specialist in the sphere of plastic surgery, dermatocosmetology, Professor, Doctor of Medical Science of the RK, Head of the Sub-Department of Aesthetic Medicine at Higher School of Public Health, academician of Kazakhstan Academy of Education - a key figure and co-organizer of main events of the international exhibition CosmobeauteKazakhstan 2016 – Scientific and Practical Conference “European School of Aesthetic Medicine”. The professor expresses her professional opinion on the industry, comments on the event and features of the industry:
- Gulnar, Gabassovna, how do you assess the aesthetic medicine market in Kazakhstan?
- Today, the cosmetology and aesthetic medicine market is growing rapidly. According to foreign practitioners each year the number of procedures abroad increases by 7-10 times. Kazakhstan in these rates is not far behind. In our country an increasing interest in the industry also can be observed. Especially the use of various new technologies, innovations, products and methods contributes to this.
- Which areas of the industry are the most popular?
- Certainly, the popularization of a certain area depends on the doctors themselves. Today, the most popular method of aesthetic medicine is injection technology. For example, mesotherapy, biorevitalization - injection methods, which contribute to improving the state of aging skin. Personally, I really like plazma therapy - reasonably popular trend that gives really good results and efficiency.
- How expensive are aesthetic medicine services?
- Everything depends on the specific procedure. Prices can be very different. Of course, prices can be lower, and in many cases, unfortunately, the quality does not meet the customer’s expectations. Quality products can not be cheap.
- Who mainly resorts to aesthetic medicine?
- Our main patients are women over 25 years old. Most of all they are interested in plastic surgery, blepharoplasty, liposuction, mammaplasty, plazma therapy using Swiss technology. I always say - we buy things, wear brands - this is not surprise anyone. But taking care of yourself - it is more. You must invest in your appearance and then you will see the results.
- As You know, this is the first time Cosmobeaute 2016 Exhibition is taking place in Kazakhstan. In the framework of the event various seminars, master classes on aesthetic medicine, and as a whole covered various areas of beauty industry. How important are such events for Kazakhstan’s market?
- Of course, any exhibition is a good platform and a great opportunity both for guests and for participants to show themselves, their achievements, obtain new information and new knowledge. You should promote your products, therefore you need to exhibit. The exhibition is well-organized, it is clear that the organisers made every effort. The exhibition of the beauty segment is, above all, promoting yourself as the master or the promotion of your products. I think that the beginning has already been made. The further – the more!
